David Travers Region Three - Clare Valley and Flinders Ranges
David Travers is a six-generation farmer and grapegrower.
After an international career, including five-years as the SA Government’s Deputy Agent General (London), David has recently become more involved in his family’s agribusiness, which includes grapes, wine, hay and broadacre assets on Eyre Peninsula.
David maintains strong corporate links as partner of the national advisory firm, VUCA. He specializes in emerging technologies, energy policy, disruptive innovation and governance.
He is deputy chairman of Scope Global, a past editor of Stock Journal, former chief of staff to the Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and inaugural CEO of University College London’s School of Energy and Resources. He is an alumnus of Harvard and Flinders universities and has lived and worked in the US, UK, Russia and Qatar.
