Martin Wirper
Region Four: Coonawarra

Martin is currently the Vineyard Manager for Rymill Coonawarra. He has held the position for since January 2021. He has previously worked for Treasury Wine Estates as Assistant Vineyard Manager – Coonawarra North, Pernod Ricard as Regional Viticulturist Southeast and Angove Family Winemakers as Technical Officer.

Martin is currently on the board of Coonawarra Vignerons and has been active on its Viticulture and Oenology Committee. He has served on the LSCWIC Technical Sub committee and the Southeast Regional Phylloxera Committee.

Martin was elected to the Wine Grape Council of SA in October 2025.
