Ben Pridham Region Seven: Currency Creek, Kangaroo Island, McLaren Vale, Southern Fleurieu and Fleurieu Other
Ben has been actively involved in the Australian wine industry in one form or another for most of his life. Early wine industry influences extend back to when his mother, Ursula Pridham developed Marienberg wines in South Australia in the late 1960’s. Ben is the owner of the family business Pridham Viticulture, which has now been in operation in some form for more than 30 years. While operating this business in the wine industry and through ownership of vineyards he has seen enormous changes to the industry and will continue to do so. Ben views change as an important element to survival and welcomes the opportunity to assess, consider and influence recommendations that will evolve sustainable business models to strengthen the vibrancy of our wine industry. His interest also lies in the way we bring our respective communities onboard to gain social acceptance.
