Brett Rosenzweig Region Eight: Riverland and Lower Murray
Brett is the current Deputy Chair of the Riverland Winegrape Growers Association, Director of Central Irrigation Trust and Committee member of the Almond Board of Australia's Plant Improvement Committee.
Brett is a third generation Riverland grape grower who started his career as an Irrigation Management Consultant after completing a Bachelor of Ag. Science whilst buying his first vineyard in 1998. In the mid 2000's he changed career to be the Industry Development Officer for the Almond Board of Australia, helping to facilitate the almond industry's Research, Development and Extension program. Brett and his wife Anna, own and manage 35Ha of winegrapes and 7Ha of almonds in Winkie.
Brett was elected to the Wine Grape Council of SA in October 2021 as an Independent Councillor and in 2023 moved into the Riverland Councillor position.
