Lyndall Rowe is the Executive Officer for Riverland Wine. Her role involves advocating for the region at local, state, and federal levels and to deliver a completely unique GI brand identity that will target both a domestic and global audience.
Making a difference to the Riverland community, through supporting the wine industry is important to Lyndall and, through her role she’s actively building awareness in government and media for the social and economic impacts resulting from some of the toughest market conditions in the Riverland’s history.
Lyndall is also active in supporting the region to readjust not just locally, but by growing the Riverland GI reputation for emerging varietals, new-wave styles, and old favourites on a national and international scale.
“The Riverland produces 32% of the nation’s crush and is arguably Australia’s most sustainable region because of our sandy soils and sunny climate,” Lyndall says. “The region is also fostering a generation of maverick producers who are writing an exciting chapter in Australian wine. Working together to drive the region forward with a strong brand identity aims to build regional pride and drive higher price points for wine across all categories”.
Lyndall was elected to the Wine Grape Council of SA as an Independent Councillor in February 2023.
