Consumer trends 

A survey of major purchasers of South Australian winegrapes was undertaken in June 2015 to find out the market outlook for grapes in 2016 from the wineries’ perspective, and to update information obtained in similar surveys conducted in 2014 and 2013.  

Overall the outlook had improved very slightly, with the majority of wineries saying that despite improvements in interest rates and new Free Trade Agreements, conditions were still tough and were expected to remain so.  This is now 'The new normal.'
